Ilya Kovalchuk had a goal and two assists in his first game back from a foot injury and Rich Peverley scored once and set up two goals in the Atlanta Thrashers’ 5-3 victory over the New York Rangers on Thursday night.

Ales Kotalik had a power-play goal and two assists, and Marian Gaborik added a power-play goal and an assist as the Rangers defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 4-2, Thursday night. The Rangers travel to Calgary (8-4-1) tomorrow night to end their western Canadian trip.

Henrik Lundqvist stopped 29 shots for his 150th NHL victory and 21st career shutout, and Marian Gaborik returned from injury and scored for the fourth straight game as the Rangers beat the Bruins 1-0 on Sunday.
